Marriage License pricing is dependant on your location and the time your initial application is purchased in relation to your wedding date.

Please follow the steps below after the purchase of your marriage license.

• STEP 1 - Online application - Go online to https://www2.miami-dadeclerk.com/mlsweb/PreApp.aspx and fill out the pre-online application. All U.S. citizens and residents must provide their Social Security number. If either applicant has been previously married, the exact date of the last divorce, death, or annulment must be provided. Make sure all information you supply is true and correct.

  Please note: Couples from outside of the USA may require an Apostille. If so, Kreative Drive can obtain this document for you. This is a separate document and incurs an additional cost.

• STEP 2 - E-mail your documents - Email the pre-online application that was issued to you from the Clerk Office to our office at marriagelicense@kreativedrive.com or Fax it to 786-845-8606. All information must be legible and transmit clearly. If possible please submit steps 1 and 2 at the same time, this will speed up the application process.
• STEP 3 - Payment - For your convenience you can pay online with a Credit Card. Or, you can mail in a check made payable to Kreative Drive, Inc. Please choose the correct amount that pertains to you.
• STEP 4 - Submission to courthouse - Once your application and payment have been received, we will submit the application to the courthouse along with payment - in person.
• STEP 5 - Application back from courthouse - When we receive the marriage license application back from the courthouse; Kreative Drive will send you the license with specific instructions on how to sign and Notarize your signatures. To avoid having to re-do the license, you must follow the simple instructions provided by Kreative Drive, Inc.
• STEP 6 - Your signature required - Your marriage license application will be sent via USPS. Public Notaries must stamp the license in the correct area - incorrect stamping will not be acceptable, will delay the processing time, and will incur additional fees.
• STEP 7 - Send your notarized copies to us - After your marriage license application has been signed and notarized, please return it to Kreative Drive using the pre-paid return USPS envelope provided for your convenience.
• STEP 8 - Notarized copies sent to Courthouse - We will personally take the notarized license application to the courthouse so that it is issued in time for your wedding.
• STEP 9 - Completed marriage license application - We will hold your marriage license until the day we perform your ceremony. If we are not performing your ceremony, we will return your license to the address you provided to Kreative Drive, Inc., in time for your ceremony in Florida.
• STEP 10 - Wedding license issued - Your license will be returned to you (US couples only), if time permits (regular mail unless you pay for Fed Ex service). If time does not permit we will request the details of the event planner managing your wedding here in Florida. For overseas couples, it will be sent to the wedding company/coordinator you are working with here in Florida.
• If for any reason 20 days prior to the wedding all paperwork has not been received, we reserve the right to refuse your application and ask you to go to the nearest courthouse upon your arrival to Florida, no refund will be given.
• We cannot accept responsibility for any licenses lost in the mail or mailings sent to the incorrect address, if we were not advised of a different address from the one that payment was made with. *additional fees will apply.

Wedding Day - You get married by a certified wedding officiant, ordained minister, pastor, priest, or rabbi. Your wedding officiant, and witnesses sign the marriage license. Take the signed marriage license and return it to the courthouse within 10 days of the wedding day. This is the most official step of the whole process. (Congrats!)

You will receive a certified copy of your Marriage License to the mailing address you provided on the application within 6 - 8 weeks.
